What if my problem isn't covered?
If your problem isn't covered by the standard Edison OnCall
Service Agreement, the electrician will give you a written estimate for the repairs you need. If you decide to have the electrician make those repairs, you'll receive a 15% discount and the electrician will bill you directly.

aggregate and per occurrence liability limits, is contained in the Service Contract, a copy of which will be sent to each new subscriber. Please read the Service Contract carefully.
If you have an urgent problem caused by a
broken or malfunctioning fuse, breaker, switch, outlet, or electrical wiring in your home, the Edison OnCall electrician will fix the problem at no additional charge during the service call.
Pre-existing electrical problems are not covered.
If the problem cannot be fixed by repairing or replacing a fuse, breaker, switch, outlet or electrical wiring, the Edison OnCall electrician will, at no additional cost,
provide an estimate of what repairs are needed and what the repairs will cost. As an Edison OnCall subscriber, you will receive a 15% discount from the electrician on these repairs. This additional work is not part of the Edison
OnCall program, and if you choose to have the electrician perform this work, you will be responsible to the electrician for the cost of such repairs. Repairs that are not covered by the Edison OnCall program are neither warranted
by nor the responsibility of Edison OnCall.
Not covered: Adding new switches or outlets; bringing additional power to your residence; breakers or fuses over 200 amps; 3-phase services; equipment rated over 250
volts; switches and receptacles in colors other than white, ivory, and brown; illuminated switches; electrical systems in violation of building codes; replacement of obsolete or unavailable materials; consequences of faulty
electrical systems or components; and restoration of surface finishes.
