Responsibilities:

• Computer Operator (network) position is responsible for monitoring the LANs, servers, network printers and work stations; Network Operator will run batch processes and respond to calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week (3 shifts); required to provide technical and operational support and escalate problems to the designated specialists; position documents procedures, maintain various records and prepares both routine and ad hoc reports. Experience with NT and HP9000 servers a plus
• Applicant must be able to work effectively with clients at all levels of computer expertise
• Work location: City of Industry. Openings on all shifts.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:

• One to two years experience in a network environment
• Experience and general knowledge of communication protocols, FTP, Internet, BBS and others
• Experience in and general knowledge of basic client/server methodology
• Experience in and knowledge of MS Office Windows applications, Windows 95 and NT
• Ability to work with minimum of supervision and/or work alone
• Shift work is a requirement
• This is an entry level position

Education:

• Associates degree and or Certificate in Computer Engineering or equivalent job experience
