Responsibilities:

• Assist users in defining system requirements
• Develop systems requirements documents
• Participate in vendor selections
• Develop and present technical recommendations to senior management
• Develop systems implementation plans covering entire system life cycle
• Manage internal implementation teams, vendor implementation teams, and systems integration efforts

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Strong IT project management experience including: requirements gathering, system specification, vendor software reviews; software selection, installation, testing, documentation and on-going operation
• Systems implementation experience in the client server environment with Oracle and MS SQL server DBMS’s
• A background in financial, retail/wholesale electricity, and/or project management applications software and integration
• Experience with conducting business process analysis and workflow design
• Whole project life cycle experience
• Ability to uphold quality standards and manage project administration
• Constructive management style with the ability to encourage & motivate their teams
• Ability to communication effectively with all levels of management
• Experienced in software change control methodology
• An enthusiastic and positive approach, with good problem solving skills

Education:

• Minimum of five years experience in large software applications projects using structured development techniques in a client server environment
• Minimum of five years project management experience
• Minimum two to five years Visual Basic, SQL or C++ and major Relational Database experience (preferably Oracle)
• Knowledge of Windows 95
• BA Computer Science degree or educational equivalent
