Purpose of Position:

Assist in the engineering, analysis and administration of the Standard Performance Contract (SPC) work. The SPC program is under the direction of the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC) and is the new incentive program that replaces the Utility Rebate programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review of survey forms from supermarket refrigeration systems
• Input the survey data and create a baseline for each supermarket
• Completion of forms for SPC
• Assist in the preparation of a model using DOE2

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:

• One to two years experience in Engineering environment
• Knowledge of any of the following is preferred: refrigeration systems, baseline, modeling systems, thermodynamics/heat transfer, or measurement and verification systems
• Excellent organization, customer service and recordkeeping skills required
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Word and Excel

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (BS) in electrical or mechanical engineering; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
