Purpose of Position:

Sell Industrial Fast Charge Battery systems to large commercial customers and manages service providers; position will be based out of Northeast and Southeast regions of U.S.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a customer base, within a defined geographical area, for a new industrial fast charge product for use with for use with electric forklifts
  • Sell product to large electric forklift fleet customer base - beginning with prospecting for customers, perform site assessments, preparation of proposals, conduct contract negotiations and carrying the sale through contract close
  • Serving as project manager, follow through with post-sale close by coordinating the installation, operation and servicing of EEV equipment in customer's facilities using EEV Sales Service Providers and other subcontractors
  • Lead or participate in assigned internal tasks to help build the operations business systems, prepare marketing collateral, sales kits and presentations and other interdepartmental tools
  • Lead or participate in the development of a superior Sales Service Provider equipment maintenance and support network
  • Lead or participate in technology scanning and competitor analysis
  • Participate in the development of marketing plans and sales plans
  • Prepare sales forecast reports and customer status reports for assigned areas

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Technology sales ability to explain complex high-tech product and overcome customer objections based on technology and operations paradigm changes
  • Sales experience a must with capability in generating new customer interest for a new high technology product
  • Appropriate level of technical experience and knowledge for assessing forklift operations, defining equipment requirements and installation management
  • Excellent written and computer skills to allow for remote on-the-road telecommunication with headquarters and other account managers
  • Be able to satisfactorily manage Sales Service Providers and subcontractors at the crew level

Education:

  • Electrical/Electronics technical education; plant operations and sales seminars
